I knew I left that pond as a better fisherman for what I had witnessed, but at the time I was unaware that this experience would also help make me a better person. Most importantly watching that old man had taught me never to rush. Don't be in a rush to take your first cast, and don't be in a rush to leave after your last. Take the time before your first cast to scan the water and look for clues that will help you catch fish. While you're scanning the water take a few minutes and look around you, soak in the beauty and be thankful for the moment. If you're reading this one of your life's passions is fishing. Having passion makes life worth living and not everyone has found their passion yet. Again be thankful. After you're done fishing also take the time to sit down and really appreciate the time you just spent in the outdoors. Another important lesson I learned that day is what makes a good fishing vehicle. Before I thought a good fishing vehicle had to have a good mixture of ruggedness and fishing decals.

It all started when 59-year-old Stephen Abbot reportedly clipped the side mirror of Asia Lewis and Kimberly Carter's car as they were riding with their godson. After Abbot didn't immediately pull over, the women caught up with him and called out for him to do so, at which point he reached for his gun, the women told officers. "He grabbed his gun and just put it on his dash like he was trying to scare us or something, " said Lewis.
Just kidding fellas. I bought this with my own money. It's a 1995 C4 S6 avant, and my first Audi. I've come over from the other side of Germany in Mercedes land, so I'm excited about this car. And if you know anything about the C4 S6 Avants you'll know that there are only 300 state side, and this is one of 4 now registered in Florida. Has a few mods like an MTM stage 1 chip, Apikol coilpacks, HID's, and some other small stuff. Obviously needs paint and a good cleaning, plus a bunch of other stuff I want to do to it, but after driving it a bit today I'm in love with it. Looking forward to my Audi adventure!

After five minutes of looking into the water he finally picked up his rod and fly box again. He moved them over to a picnic table, opened up his small fly box, and picked out a fly. Even from the parking lot I could see him tying on this big black ugly looking fly. I wasn't sure what fly it was but there was no way a trout would eat that monstrosity. When he started casting I was blown away with how efficient he was. A River Runs Through it had recently came out and was what most people that didn't know better though fly fishing was like. The old man didn't have any wasted movement. Each cast including his false casts had a purpose. Although Brad Pitt's casting might have made movie magic this old man could show him and everyone a thing or two about casting. Some people might prefer the beauty of rolling the line out back and forth 20 times to achieve the distance and a delicate presentation of the fly they're looking for. I didn't then and still don't today. Casting, even fly casting still has a purpose and that's to get your presentation in front of fish.
